European Anaphylaxis Taskforce (EAT)
The Stakeholders
The organisation which co-ordinates stakeholder interests
on all aspects
of anaphylaxis is now available in Europe.
EAT will be the
platform of excellence of a Network of excellence for
those organisations and institutions who are dealing
with the practicalities of preventing severe allergic
reactions in individuals.
The Taskforce will
consist of representatives from patient organisations
who are dealing with all causes of anaphylaxis;
clinicians, researchers, food chemists & technologists
and food safety managers from the food business
(development, manufacturing, retailing & catering,
etc.), pharmaceutical & bio-technical industry and
insurance industry. Also EU & National legislative
bodies on Consumer Health issues will take part in EAT.
